What are Yuans?

Quote :: Yuans are the currency of the URN (United Public of Nations). They will be the functioning currency of WLL that you can use to buy things. Yuans are what we are calling the system we use to reward members for being (long term) active members on the site. It is a system we have implemented to encourage people to participate in a variety of activities we have on the site.

Why do any currency?

Quote :: For fun. It's totally optional (you do NOT have to earn Yuans) and in place to make your experience at WLL as personal as possible. That is one of the main goals of WLL: to stand out from the other Avatar forums by making this forum as close as we can to personal and real. You've got your nation, your rank, your money, shopping...all that's left is actually inserting you into the Avatar world and making it so you can really bend.

Who is able to earn Yuans and who is able to spend them?

Quote :: Every member on WLL is able to earn and spend Yuans. However, it should be noted that there is a scale for how many points you earn which varies based on your rank. Sentry members earn the least amount of points, and Masters earn the most. Of course, moderators earn even more than Masters and admin earn even more than mods.

Okay, so how do you earn Yuans?

Quote :: You can earn Yuans a number of ways! By:

- Joining WLL
- Ranking up
- Playing games (i.e. in the GAME ROOM)
- Hosting games (in the GAME ROOM)
- Participating in games (this means even if you lose, you get Yuans)
- Winning contests
- Hosting contests
- Referring new members
- Winning a Pro-Bending Match
- Losing a Pro-Bending Match
- Donating (money or real life items)
- Birthdays
- Holidays
- Attending Livestreams
- Good deeds
- Gift Yuans
- Reaching certain word count in RP threads
- Writing Quality in RPs
- Opening a shop in the shopping district, offering goods to members for them to purchase things with Yuans (must be quality!)

When is the currency updated?

Quote :: Currency will be updated whenever the Yuans are earned. Be it daily, weekly, monthly, that is when they will be updated.

Who updates the currency?

Quote :: Only admin do. The currency system is within the admin panel and only admin have access to this.
