Mako x Korra = Makorra

Personally, there is so much I love about this ship.
This gif accurately explains my feelings.

Right now, I don't ship them. I felt their relationship was too rushed and too fake. I feel there wasn't enough time for their feelings to blossom. And because of the fact that they were put together so quickly and the fact that they are teens, they probably won't last. I mean maybe, but I doubt it.

I mean, I get that when LoK started, it wasn't intended to go beyond the episodes we saw. But since now it is being extended out (like they should've known it was going to be), it was too quick of a relationship. It's basically like the whole:

*couple is together for two weeks*

"I love you"

"I love you, too"

No.

I ship these guys from the beginning (I pretty much ship every ship in LOK. XD) and I still ship them hard despite the poor development. I bet if we got a full season their relationship would have been handle better same for the KorraxMakoxAsami love triangle.  They just had to rush the relationship because they thought they would only have 12 episodes. Seriously why did they think this wouldn't be popular? Avatar fans were dying to see a continuation of the series. 

I kind of want to defend Mako here (this is directed at no one. Just me rambling ^^). I hate how some avatar fans bash the poor guy. They claim him for cheating and I have to disagree with that. In the beginning we get some hits that Mako may like Korra, but then he t met Asami and he fell for her (who wouldn't? The girl is smexy! :3) As time went on it was clear that Mako was attracted to Korra. Then she kissed him and he kissed her back. The two then brush off it and agree to be friends/hide their feelings for each other. Tell me how is that cheating? First off Korra kissed him first. Yes he should have pushed her away, but he did have some feelings for her already. After that kiss, the two never went off to see each other behind Asami's back. If they did then that would be cheating.  The only bashing I found acceptable is that Mako didn't  break up with Asami. Now we kind of did get a break up seen. KIND OF. They both stare at each other before the final fight begins. The writes could have totally squeezed in a break up scene there.

Again just me rambling! XD

i kind of agree with Hanasakuya. i mean, i didn't feel like it was left fielded or anything like that, because there had been hints. but i did feel like the depth they said they felt for each other was much too rushed. they didn't have too many interactions, and not enough to cause those sorts of feelings.

i think they should have been explored more, their relationship more built up for me to completely ship them.

Like I said I feel like that wouldn't be a problem if we were given a full season or if they ended up together in book 2 instead. However the story was written before they knew there would be a book 2. ^^*
